NJ
Fast Facts
NJs racetracks produce an annual economic impact of $502.3 million.
This does not include wagering (the "pari-mutuel handle")
at racetracks or the effects of travel and tourism-related contributions
to the economy. Other reports have shown that a major one-time
event at a racetrack, such as the Breeders Cup, can generate
upwards of $50 million in incremental impact for the surrounding
communities and the state. |
